Dear Readers,
Well we are nearly at Halloween, so who got the biggest pumpkin then? Have you carved yours or are you ready to, and have you got the sweets for trick or treat, I know we will prepare. Not that it’s been a great year for pumpkins or I may be proved wrong at the weigh in… I have grown very little this year, onions and leeks are my staples and a few carrots, I have now put the vegetable patch to bed for the winter only a few cabbages are left, we have been rotovating and reseeding a few vegetable areas recently as people change the way they use their gardens. The most popular request at the moment is the winter hit to gardens, has it overtaken itself or is this your favourite part of the year, pruning and preening, muck and mulching, getting the garden ready for bed. Whatever the project who you gonna call ‘Mow’n’Blow’ Don’t for get to change the clocks
