Letters from The Garden
Dear Readers OOOh! It’s exciting everything is coming out and looking amazing. As we meet new gardens, we are energised to see the life coming in to them and those we are already acquainted with, we feel satisfied we have looked after them over winter. We have already done two big planting jobs, seeding, turfing and we are getting lots of requests for garden re-designs, projects and pond re-builds. Lots of pond queries, as my husband is qualified in this area and loves his fishing anyway (i forgot to mention the carp as part of the family). This area is starting to build again and it’s lovely to see, for too long we have missed water in gardens, you can make it part of the garden in so many ways, and to hear water is a very calming effect as is gardening. The gardening teams are running in full swing we have expanded so Connor and Joe now have their own areas but both pull together on the more horticultural gardens. It’s good to be so busy even myself and Christian are on the gardening to keep up with the pace as the lovely warm weather has brought life forward. Animal watch - adding to the menagerie is a pug called Maggie, it seems she likes to attack wheelbarrow wheels and unfortunately strimmer heads!!! But she is safe we made sure of that, might have to check the T & C’s?! It’s always good to have a warm Easter, you may even see us at Wyevale, Rake over the Easter Bank Holiday we will be there on the Saturday 15th April 2017 to see any potential clients that are interested in developing their gardens. If you can’t make it call us to make an appointment. Have a lovely Easter, and if it’s warm don’t forget to water all the lovely plants you know you’re going to buy.
