Easter Time!

It is with some expectancy that I stand in my garden around Easter time, the time that marks the end of winter and really the beginning of spring. A slump seems to come out of my shoulders at this time of year, and this seems to be shared by nature herself, as the world around us starts to come alive. 

At Mow ‘N’ Blow, and now that the frosts are over (hopefully!) we can start to think about lawns, from first cuts to repair, grass seeding and fertilising as well as other lawn treatments. This is not the only area of the garden that needs preparation. I have already found myself in the green house splitting pond plants and growing on early plugs. If you have a greenhouse or coldframe, now is the time to start “plugging” away! From begonias and geraniums, to tomatoes and equisetums all can be grown on early. If your worried about cold still, the propagator is a good way to go.

As the bulbs sprout, buds pop out and garden centres get the bedding in, we know that nature is about to flourish and I hope that your gardens flourish with her.
