Letters from the garden
Dear Readers, English summer, wet days and nice evenings, it’s not so bad, we have done well considering the weather recently only had to re-schedule some work so can’t complain too much. The gardens are looking good at the moment, the hard work has paid off and we are all enjoying the fruits of our labour, literally. Moving forward we are already thinking of what needs doing next month lots of borders need digging and compost needs adding or mulching whichever you personally prefer, as long as it feeds and protects the soil, it’s welcome. We definitely need to start scheduling these jobs in for people especially those that only really require help for this sort of work, we can help with anything from training climbing plants to pruning, cutting back, feeding, mulching, digging over and weeding of course. Not forgetting those with projects in mind, maybe some soft planting needed, you know the next seasons plants are already here, I have already seen the cyclamen and pansies sneaking into the garden centres, enticing us to move on already, personally I am hoping for that Indian summer and to enjoy it for a little longer, especially now I have a patio of my own to sit on in these lovely evenings. Thank you to the Landscape team for the patio they built in less than 2 days, I will add pictures to the website. If you need any help please do not hesitate to contact us. Lynn Dupont
