Letters from the garden
Dear Readers, What lovely weather we’ve had recently, can’t believe it took till July to start the summer, but it’s here and we are happy. It does mean some plants have crossed over which wouldn’t normally do so, and the show has been appreciated. Christian and I did make it to Hampton Court Flower Show this year, and we enjoyed all the gardens, glad to see plenty of water and interesting designs all round, lots of nurseries selling a fantastic choice of plants, I even bought myself some, one in particular was the Digiplexus in a lovely Apricot colour, cant stop staring at the flowers. I am a very happy lady. I am trying to get on top of my own garden, with the rain everything has gone mad so a bit of attention is needed, I will keep going in this heat, that’s why the light in the evenings is so helpful to us gardeners we can keep plodding on till the dirt needs to be washed off! The mowing hasn’t slowed down yet but hoping with the warmth it will and the team can get to all the other bed and border work that we do, lots of planting this year which is good for them, to develop areas or whole gardens just more knowledge to add to the list of skills. If you need any help in the garden from mowing to development or just help with clearing the borders, please let us know. Lynn and Christian Dupont
