Letters from the garden
Dear readers, Well here we are, Midsummer and it’s happened so quickly, but we have enjoyed some of the later nights for Fishing, BBQ’s and just relaxing in the garden which is very important, pulling out the odd weed as you wonder round or ignoring the one area the needs more than that!! At this time of year, we are as you’d expect inundated with requests for one offs and extras, so please bear with us while we schedule all the gardens in, the hedges now need pruning the weeds are growing quicker than the Sweet Peas you planted (and yes that’s my scenario this year!) I have an abundance of weeds that are getting watered well, but it is easier to pull the blighters out so that’s my advice to you all for this period of lovely warm weather, keep the beds watered it will help to grab them out with the root, and obviously keeping your precious plants alive also. So how are you celebrating Midsummer? Strawberries, Glastonbury, Garden Parties for all, marshmallows over the fire pit and glass of something if your so inclined. Don’t forget the fairy lights, I have some lovely Copper crooks with glass holders for my garden this year, made by my Husband and the team, it’s something we are looking to branch out with as part of our garden projects, but our garden gets to grace them first which makes me happy. Enjoy your Midsummer and beware of the fairies! If they cause mischief and you need help to get the garden back give us a call. Lynn Dupont Sales@mow-n-blow.co.uk
