Letters from the garden
there has been another change this time around, I am neither Christian or Lynn, so let me introduce myself quickly. My name is Joe and I work with the rest of the team at Mow ‘n’ Blow Garden Services. I have been asked to share a thought or two with you all, so I have decided to tell you a bit of how and why I have come to love gardening over the past 2 years.
When I first started, I was never expecting to enjoy gardening the way I have come to. I had never thought I would find so much interest in some of the little but obvious changes we see each year; fresh buds of a rose, a wisterias stunning blooms, those amazing tulips which have finally shown themselves after being planted as just bulbs.
But from 2 years of working in a lot of wonderful gardens, I have come to enjoy these sights. Many of which are relevant to this time of year, spring being the season of new beginnings and my favourite part of the year, yes I know cliché. But this has enabled me to say I love what I do, so if you see us in your neighbourhood, don’t ever hesitate to ask for our help!

Letters from the garden
Hi all, this week It’s my turn. In case you are new to reading this, I am Christian Dupont (the hairy one, the one with the beard not the one with the paws!) I own and run, with my wife Lynn, MNB Landscapes and Mow ‘N’ Blow garden services. Together with Lynn’s brother, Ian and our wonderful team we create beautiful back gardens and we maintain them as well.
Gardening and landscaping is not something you do for the money it’s something you do because you love it! I have been gardening for over 20 years, some clients with me for over 15 years now, and watching their gardens develop and grow is never boring. People often assume that spring would naturally be a gardener’s favourite season, 4 bank holidays in 6 weeks, I don’t think so! Spring is definitely a time of growth and in many cultures, represents the end of harsh times and the beginning of new life, new opportunity’s and fresh starts. The same is true of the garden. We have all seen the adverts on TV from the DIY superstores informing us that now is the time to purchase a BBQ or paint our fences in sage.
We specialise in small to medium size garden transformations including design and planting plans, and excel at regular garden maintenance both horticulturally biased and the more necessary mowing and blowing. With over 60 years combined experience we look forward to hearing from you!
