Letters from the garden
Dear Readers, It’s October and we have had the best week for sunshine, love it! The team is enjoying it too. The leaves are dropping already, well that’s one of the main jobs now, keeping the leaves at bay before they take over everyone’s garden, competing with the Apples dropping, don’t forget to collect them and make that apple crumble or just fill up the store ready for winter, I’ve done my Elderberry jam, very satisfying but it does like to set earlier than most fruits so you can’t take your eye off It even if you are making scones!!! Anyway back to gardening, I hope you have been planning and buying your bulbs ready or setting pots up for winter/spring planting, there are still some lovely plants available and I have to say I have succumbed to some new bulbs myself, so while I am planting up clients pots and baskets I will try and find time for my own (we’ll see). If you do need anything like this done I am available to do this on site for you just let me know your shopping list or if your feeling a little risqué you could let me choose! If you need any plants or help with planting please do not hesitate to contact us. Lynn Dupont
