Letters from the garden
Dear Readers, Well here we are as gardeners, at the first May Bank Holiday already, it doesn’t seem to have been that definite change in work, but we are cutting with regularity now and our lovely clients are all raring to go with the garden plans for this year. In the next couple of weeks, we have to prepare for developing a an existing border with some colour so that should be fun for the team, then we have another planting plan for a small garden but one which has had a lot of love in the past and just needs a boost, pics will be added to the website. Well I have planted some herbaceous already, I have not been brave enough with the bedding as it’s still cold at night, and there are a lot of tender plants that will suffer, so if you have a Greenhouse use it or cover with some garden fleece if already planted up just to be on the safe side. We took the team to RHS Wisley on Friday afternoon and I have to say they seem to really enjoy it, especially when you see the scale of a herbaceous border and the Arboretum, seeing the layout of certain trees made them realise how to space for future planting, glad they enjoyed it though even it if it was a bit wet. I hope the weather is on our side over the bank holiday as it would be lovely to enjoy the garden with everything blooming. Enjoy and we will see you soon. Lynn Dupont
