Dear Readers, As the newest member of the team at Mow’n’Blow I would like to introduce myself, I am a ten-year Hiller trained plants woman and have a further background in Horticultural retail so I am really looking forward to getting back to gardening, especially as the season starts, and looking forward to working with my husband. As we are already on a schedule for cutting lawns and tidying, watching all the bulbs and spring flowers coming up, this has to be my favourite time of year, I have already got my onions and garlic in, I am just planting some carrots which I found easy to grow last year, and the seed trays have filled the little greenhouse we have, the sweet peas are coming along and I will be able to plant these soon into pots around the patio that has just been done, all newly landscape and ready for planting around it. We at Mow’n’Blow have recently finished a garden design and once the plants are in, it transforms the whole look, from the foundations of the design, soil this has to be right, to paving or patios, to sunshades and specimen trees and to the bit I really like the herbaceous planting (yes I am a flowery cottage garden girl) and I’m proud of it.
